What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 13, 2021. The Tenant owes no money to the Landlords as the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenant exceeds the rent arrears. The Landlords are authorized to offset $23.08 per day for compensation for the Tenant's continued occupation of the unit starting February 3, 2021 until the Tenant vacates.
