What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay full rent for October 2022 plus $25.00 towards arrears by October 7, 2022, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate the unit by January 30, 2023. The Tenant is ordered to pay $6,545.98 plus $34.52 per day from January 20, 2023, until they move out. If not paid by January 30, 2023, interest will accrue at 5% annually. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 31, 2023.
