What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent and substantial interference with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment of the property. The Tenant did not have reliable evidence of cash rental payments, and the Landlord proved the Tenant smoked cigarettes inside the rental unit and used an area of the property without permission, substantially interfering with the Landlord's rights.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 19, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,244.34, plus $47.67 per day starting November 9, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 19, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
