What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective June 1, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $2,025.71 in rent arrears and $30.24 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting May 22, 2021 until they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by June 1, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
