What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 22, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $3,213.96, plus $30.41 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting August 12, 2020 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owing by August 22, 2020, they will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
