Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued by the Board on January 22, 2020.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 18, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,659.19 (less any amount paid after the application was filed) and $45.70 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting April 1, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 18, 2020, the Tenant will owe interest starting August 19, 2020.
