What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to wilful or negligent damage done to the rental unit and/or residential complex. The application was filed after the Tenants had already vacated the rental unit pursuant to a previous Board order.

The ruling

The Landlord is entitled to $3,149.54 in damages for the Tenants' wilful or negligent damage to the rental unit and residential complex, as well as $175 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by June 28, 2020, they will owe interest on the outstanding balance.
