What happened
Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlord substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex by the Tenants or by a member of their household. The substance of the issues raised was that the Landlord has not responded fast enough or properly to the Tenant's concerns about a pest infestation in the rental unit.
The ruling
The Tenant's application is dismissed. The Tenant did not establish that the Landlord failed in its maintenance obligations or that the Landlord's response or lack of response to the pest control issue substantially interfered with the Tenant's reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit.
