What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlord failed to meet maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 or failed to comply with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards and/or had unlawfully retained monies contrary to the Act. The application was resolved by order EAT-87180-19 issued on January 14, 2020. The Landlord requested a review of the order and that the order be stayed until the request to review the order is resolved.

The ruling

The request to review order EAT-87180-19 issued on January 14, 2020 is denied. The order is confirmed and remains unchanged. The interim order issued on February 13, 2020 is cancelled, and the stay of order EAT-87180-19 is lifted.
