What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord also applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants because they have been persistently late in paying their rent.
The ruling
The Tenants shall pay to the Landlord $13,486.00, which represents the amount of rent owing up to February 28, 2021 and the application fee. The Tenants shall pay the amount owing and rent that comes due according to a payment schedule. If the Tenants fail to make any one of the payments, the outstanding balance of any arrears of rent and costs to be paid by the Tenants to the Landlord shall become immediately due and owing and the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants. The Tenants shall also pay the Landlord monthly rent owing on or before the first day of each month commencing November 1, 2021 and continuing thereafter until and including March 1, 2022. If the Tenants fail to make any of these payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants.
