What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 12, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,549.02, which includes the remaining rent arrears from the previous order and the application fee. The Tenant must also pay $40.32 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting February 2, 2022 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 12, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest, and the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
