What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant and Interested Party because they, another occupant of the rental unit or someone they permitted in the residential complex have substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant and the Interested Party remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The Landlord's application is amended to remove the Interested Party as a respondent tenant. The Interested Party may participate in the hearing with full participation rights as it has a legitimate interest as a landlord in the outcome of the dispute between the Landlord and the Tenant. The hearing of the Landlord's application for an order terminating the Tenant's tenancy and evicting her is adjourned to April 27, 2015.
