What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant owed $2,286.00 in rent arrears for the period from March 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, and an additional $175.00 for the cost of filing the application, for a total of $2,461.00 owed.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,461.00 according to a repayment plan of $250.00 per month from January 2021 to October 2021. The Tenant shall also pay the rent in full and on time on the first of each month, beginning January 1, 2021. If the Tenant fails to make any of the scheduled payments, the outstanding balance shall become immediately due and owing, and the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
