What happened

Tenants applied for an order determining that the Landlord failed to meet the Landlord's maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 or failed to comply with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards.

The ruling

The Landlord shall pay the Tenants $1,665.00 in compensation. The Landlord shall repair the sink, fridge, screen door and move the washer and dryer to the basement by April 30, 2018. If the Landlord does not complete the repairs by April 30, 2018, the Tenants are authorized to arrange for the repairs and deduct the cost from the rent.
