What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay compensation for the damages caused by them or a person they permitted in the residential complex.

The ruling

The Landlord is awarded $3,000.00 for the reasonable costs of repairing the damage and replacing the damaged property, as well as $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord a total of $3,175.00. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by October 5, 2018, they will start to owe interest at 3.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
