What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Tenant had littered the common areas with personal belongings and cat litter, causing complaints from other tenants.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 30, 2018. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $385.07, which includes compensation for use of the unit, the application fee, and interest on the rent deposit.
