What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenant was still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $9,686.00 on or before November 30, 2022. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must move out by November 30, 2022, and pay the Landlord $4,655.43 plus $62.47 per day from October 12, 2022, until they move out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting December 1, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
