What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlords served a valid Notice of Termination effective February 26, 2020 due to rent arrears. The Tenant was in possession of the unit at the time of the application.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlords $153.90, which represents the balance of the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 4, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
