What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay full rent for November 2022 and failed to make a $1,000 payment towards rent arrears by November 15, 2022.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate the unit by March 17, 2023. The Tenant is ordered to pay $15,673.79 plus $64.18 per day from March 7, 2023, until they move out. If the Tenant doesn't pay by March 17, 2023, interest will be charged at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
