What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board on July 29, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 4, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $13,995.97 in rent arrears and application fees, plus $42.08 per day in compensation for occupying the unit after August 25, 2021. If the full amount is not paid by September 4, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest and the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
