What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective June 30, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $1,383.85 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $36.25 per day starting June 11, 2021 until they move out. The Tenants must also pay the $186 application fee. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by June 21, 2021, they will owe interest. If the unit is not vacated by June 30, 2021, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
