What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on July 26, 2021 with respect to application TNL-31137-21.

The ruling

The previous order TNL-31137-21 is cancelled. The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenants must move out by September 11, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $9,771.00 for rent arrears and the previous application fee, plus $55.73 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting September 1, 2021 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by September 11, 2021, they will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
