What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (SWL-58491-22) issued on October 27, 2022. The Tenant failed to pay the full rent for November 2022 by the due date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 20, 2023. The Tenant must pay $7,946.95 to the Landlord, representing rent arrears up to February 9, 2023, less the rent deposit and interest. Additionally, the Tenant must pay $31.28 per day from February 10, 2023, until vacating the unit. If the Tenant does not vacate by February 20, 2023, the Landlord may enforce the eviction through the Court Enforcement Office.
