What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant or someone permitted by the Tenant causing undue damage to the rental unit and substantially interfering with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must vacate the rental unit by September 25, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,548.15 for repair costs, $3,997.42 for compensation for use of the unit, and $186 for the application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 25, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
