What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent arrears as ordered in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 2, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,925.03 in rent arrears and application fees, plus $55.73 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting October 1, 2021 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 2, 2021, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
