What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant had paid all arrears for the period ending December 31, 2021 after the application was filed, so the order was limited to costs only and not eviction.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $49.84 for the remaining cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 7, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
