What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (CEL-98041-21) issued on July 5, 2021. Tenants failed to pay $520.00 towards arrears by November 20, 2021, and failed to pay full lawful monthly rent by December 1, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 25, 2022. Tenants must pay $18,574.10 to the Landlord, plus $66.90 per day from January 15, 2022 until they vacate the unit. If full payment is not made by January 25, 2022, interest will be charged at 2.00% annually from January 26, 2022. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 26, 2022 if the unit is not vacated.
