What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued by the LTB on September 26, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenants must vacate the unit by February 3, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $13,838.75 plus $50.74 per day for compensation starting January 24, 2023 until they move out. If the full amount is not paid by February 3, 2023, the Tenants will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
