What happened
Landlord applied for an order to require the Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on June 15, 2022 and did not pay the full rent for the period from January 1, 2022 to June 15, 2022.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective June 15, 2022. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $9,194.80, which includes rent arrears and daily compensation up to June 15, 2022, and the cost of the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 27, 2022, the Tenant will start owing interest at 3% annually on the outstanding balance.
