What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued on October 13, 2020.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by April 20, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $633.47, which represents the rent owing up to April 9, 2021 and the costs related to the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $46.86 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting April 10, 2021 until the Tenant moves out.
