What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 3, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,208.15 in rent arrears and application fees. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by October 3, 2020, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by October 3, 2020, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
