What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord claimed the Tenant had excessive garbage, caused undue damage to the siding and window, and this conduct substantially interfered with the Landlord's lawful rights.
The ruling
The tenancy was terminated effective July 16, 2021. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $246.82, which includes $60.82 per day for use of the unit after termination and the $186 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay by July 16, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
