What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant did not pay the total rent the Tenant was required to pay for the period from January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $8,057.28 in rent arrears up to June 25, 2021, less the rent deposit of $1,670.97. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 2, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
