What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant owed $500 in rent arrears for the period from January 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020, and the Landlord had served a Notice of Termination.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $675 in arrears and costs through a payment plan, and shall also pay the Landlord rent owing for the months of October 2020 through April 2021 by the first day of each month. If the Tenant fails to make any one of the payments, the outstanding balance shall become immediately due and owing, and the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
