What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 8, 2021. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $5,414.50, which includes compensation for use of the unit from May 1, 2021 to the move-out date. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 8, 2021, they will owe interest starting November 9, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by November 8, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
