What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in the order issued by the Board on December 4, 2019 with respect to application NOL-38138-19. The condition was that the Tenant's dog must be leashed and muzzled when in the common areas of the residential complex, and the Tenant must not permit the dog to run loose in the yard. The Landlord alleged that on March 23, 2020, the Tenant's dog was not muzzled and was allowed to jump on another Tenant, scratching her legs.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before August 15, 2020. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
