What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The condition was that the Tenant and any occupants or guests were not to make undue or excessive noise between 10 pm and 8 am, but the Landlord provided evidence of multiple incidents of loud noise, slamming doors, and other disturbances during those hours over a period of several days in January 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must vacate the rental unit by March 6, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
