What happened

Landlord applied for an order to require Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on August 31, 2021, prior to the hearing date.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,105.02 in rent arrears up to August 31, 2021, less the $684.98 deposit and interest. The Tenant shall also pay $201.00 for the application filing fee. If the full amount is not paid by October 30, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
