What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in the order issued by the Board on June 28, 2019 with respect to application TEL-01290-19. The application was resolved by order TEL-12534-20 issued on November 20, 2020. On November 20, 2020, the Tenants requested a review of the order claiming they were not reasonably able to participate at the hearing.

The ruling

The request to review order TEL-12534-20 issued on November 20, 2020 is denied. The order is confirmed and remains unchanged. The interim order issued on December 10, 2020 is cancelled. The stay of order TEL-12534-20 is lifted. The Tenants shall pay to the Landlord $100.00 in costs. Order TEL-12534-20 issued on November 20, 2020 is amended to include a section 81 expiry date of January 28, 2022 if the order has not been filed on or before this date with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) that has territorial jurisdiction where the rental unit is located.
