What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective July 27, 2021. The Tenant did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 21, 2022. The Tenant must pay $5,156.40 plus $25.21 per day starting January 11, 2022, until they move out. If the Tenant pays $6,336.52 by January 21, 2022, the eviction order will be void. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting January 22, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
