What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice on the Tenant. The Tenant was still in possession of the rental unit on the hearing date. The Landlord and Tenant reached an agreement regarding the payment of the rent arrears.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,046 for rent arrears up to 2023-01-31 and the application filing fee. The Tenant shall pay this amount by 2023-03-17 and shall also pay the February 2023 rent by 2023-02-01. If the Tenant fails to make any of the payments, the Landlord may apply to the LTB for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
