What happened
Landlords applied for eviction due to Tenant's improper installation of a BBQ gas line, damage to the deck, and a vehicle left on cement blocks for an extended period. The Tenant's actions were deemed to have seriously impaired safety and caused wilful damage to the rental unit.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated as of April 30, 2022. The Tenant must pay $400 for damages by March 31, 2022. If not vacated by April 30, 2022, the Landlords may file for eviction enforcement starting May 1, 2022.
