What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 13, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the unit by May 24, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $50.20 per day for use of the unit from May 14, 2021 until they move out, and $175 for the application filing fee. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by May 24, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by May 24, 2021, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction starting May 25, 2021.
