What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord also applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to serious impairment of safety. The Tenants did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants pay $14,586 by June 30, 2022 or $16,986 by July 10, 2022 to void the order. If the Tenants do not pay, they must vacate the unit by July 10, 2022 and pay the Landlord $11,586.97 plus daily compensation.
