What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant or someone permitted by Tenant substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by July 2, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $18.64 per day for use of the unit from June 22, 2021 to the move-out date, and $175 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 2, 2021, they will owe interest starting July 3, 2021, and the Landlord can file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
