What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by their child.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective October 7, 2021. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before October 7, 2021. The Tenants shall pay the Landlords $2,919.30 for compensation for the use of the unit from August 29, 2021 to October 4, 2021, and $78.90 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from October 5, 2021 to the date they move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owing by October 15, 2021, they will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
