What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Landlord's requirement of the rental unit for personal use by a parent of the Landlord.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 30, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee and interest on any outstanding balance at 2% annually starting December 1, 2021.
