What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The parties consented to the order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 3, 2020. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before September 3, 2020. The Tenants can terminate the tenancy earlier with 10 days' written notice. The Landlord waives the rent for the period of March 4, 2020 to April 3, 2020 as compensation. If the unit is not vacated on or before September 3, 2020, then starting September 4, 2020, the Landlord may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced.
