What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and not meeting conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenants failed to pay lawful monthly rent for November 2022 on or before November 1, 2022, breaching the conditions of the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 21, 2023. Tenants must pay $17,233.20 plus $120.82 per day from February 11, 2023, until they vacate the unit. If not vacated by February 21, 2023, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement. The Tenants have until February 20, 2023, to file a motion to set aside the order.
