What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlords served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenant was not present at the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts. If not voided, the Tenant must move out by February 5, 2023, and pay $14,506.34 plus $37.81 per day from January 17, 2023, until move-out. The Landlords may file for eviction enforcement starting February 6, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
